After months of building alongside our design partners, Aura is officially launching on January 2nd, 2025.
If you've been on the waitlist: thank you for your patience. We're opening access gradually throughout January to make sure we can keep things stable as we scale. The first 1,000 people to [sign up here] will get access on launch day.
What We're Launching
For those just joining us, Aura is an AI assistant and agent built specifically for Unreal Engine. It's not a general-purpose coding tool that happens to work with Unreal—it's purpose-built for the way game developers actually work.
Editor-Use Agent – You can now ask Aura to light scenes, configure post-processing, and mass-edit Blueprints through natural conversation. It understands your project deeply and executes directly in the editor.
Coding Agent – Aura writes, edits, and compiles C++ directly within Unreal. When it hits compile errors, it self-corrects. It can search your Unreal Engine source to give you accurate, context-aware answers.
3D Asset Generation – Turn concepts into game-ready assets without leaving the engine.
These build on what Aura already does well: Blueprint generation, deep project understanding that adapts to your codebase, and the kind of Unreal-specific knowledge that generic AI tools just don't have.
Real Results
We've been working with studios for months to make sure this actually works in production. The results have been better than we expected.
Sinn Studio—the team behind Swordsman VR—used Aura to ship Zombonks in early access in just 5 months. Their asset sourcing pipeline went from 2-3 days per level down to 4-5 hours. That's a 5X improvement on one of the most time-consuming parts of game development.
"Aura and I rapidly iterated to meticulously craft a vision for the game," said Alek Sinn, CEO of Sinn Studio. "We make VR games, so coming up with an idea and then seeing it come to life in 3D just a few minutes later was game-changing for me."
Transparent Pricing
We want to be upfront about how this works. Running Aura costs us significant resources. Frontier AI models, 3D generation, and the infrastructure to make it all feel instant. We've tried to make pricing as fair as possible while keeping the lights on.

Annual plans get 25% off across the board.
How usage works: Your credits reset monthly. You can set overage limits so you never get surprised by a bill. If you burn through your credits, you can either wait for the reset or pay for overages at a predictable rate.
If you're moving faster with Aura, the math should work out in your favor.
For Early Adopters
If you sign up in January—including on the free trial—you get 25% extra usage credits. That's $25 worth on the trial instead of $20, $50 on Pro instead of $40, and $350 on Ultra instead of $280. (this is only reflected in cheaper costs per request, you won’t see the absolute cash bonus)
You also get access to Claude Opus 4.5, Anthropic's most advanced model, for the full month. It's the best reasoning model available right now and makes a real difference on complex Blueprint logic and architectural decisions.
We'll likely keep Opus 4.5 as a premium option after January. For now, it's included for everyone.
Why We're Doing Gradual Access
Honestly? We want to make sure things don't break. Scaling AI infrastructure is hard, and we'd rather give 100 people a great experience than give 10,000 people a frustrating one.
If you're on the waitlist, you'll get access in waves throughout January. We'll email you when it's your turn.
What's Next
This launch is just the beginning. We have a lot more coming in the next few weeks—features we're genuinely excited about but aren't quite ready to announce yet.
For now: [sign up for early access], try the free trial, and let us know what you think. We read every piece of feedback.
See you in the editor.
